Typographical Landscape

One of the projects at college was to recreate a landscape using only letters and numbers, the landscape i decided to use for my picture was the Gateshead Millenium Bridge in Newcastle. Along with the bridge I decided to include the reflections in the river.

Double Continuous Line Drawing

This is a picture of a wooden mannequin using the double continuous line technique. This was done by using two pencils simultaneously while drawing the mannequin. This was very challenging, trying to keep both pencils in line with each other was difficult.

Body Sketch

This is a sketch of one of my friends layed out reading a book, this is the first time I have draw someone from this angle and I believe that this has turned out well apart from the face

Pencil Portrait Experiment

This is an illustration of Kaley Cuoco, who plays Penny from the popular television show The Big Bang Theory. I decided to use Kaley as my inspiration because I wanted to experiment with drawing her face and her hair, because I find both of these areas hard to draw but I feel I have done well with the hair.

Mixed Media Wolf

I created this wolf using both charcoal and pencil, originally I had only planned on using charcoal but I felt something was missing, so I decided to add some blue pencil to the image, which changed it from a grayscale charcoal image, to a slightly coloured mixed media image. I believe the little teaches of colour add to the whole effect of the image.

Darren Shan

This picture is based on a scene that happens within the "The Vampire's Assistant" By Darren Shan. I found this sceen enticing so I decided to transfer the image of this scene from my mind to paper, the hands and the face both proved rather difficult but in the end I think it came out better than I originally planned.
 This is the scene:-
“Some time later, as I was dreaming, something caught in my throat and made me gag. I coughed and awoke. There was a figure above me, holding a small bottle to my mouth, trying to force a liquid down me”

Wolf Face

I love wolves and for one of my projects are college, I'm design an ablum cover for the song "Animal I have Become" by Three Days Grace, and I have decided to have a werewolf on the front cover, this is the wolf face design I have decided to use for

Technique Experiment

This is Jim Parsons, who plays Sheldon Cooper on the popular television show The Big Bang Theory. At college we were assigned a week project to draw the same person using different techniques, I found this picture and thought it would be both challenging and interesting to reproduce it using different techniques.

Pencil Portrait

This was part of a project at college where we had to use a technique to transform an iconic person. I decided to use Roy Lichtenstein's pop art technique on Lady Gaga, which I believe was highly effective and suits her very well

Charcoal Portrait

This is a side portrait of one of my fellow classmates, this was entirely done by using charcoal, I'm still new to using charcoal but I believe this turned out considerably well.

Continuous Line Drawing Landscape

This is a scene outside of my college which I drew using the Continuous Line technique, this technique requires the pen never to leave the paper. . Trying to keep everything to scale and in line with each other was difficult but I had a lot of fun experimenting with this technique.
